Tired of being disappointed by substandard desserts, Michelle made it her mission to perfect the art, and opened CakeKraft for business in 2004 to wide acclaim. Michelle is a vegetarian with many vegan friends, and developed her recipes to be enjoyed by all. Cakekraft is an environmentally friendly small business and encourages everyone to become more conscientious consumers and go green.

I create desserts that are not too sweet, to suit grown-up palates, and strive to make fresh and intense flavors the centerpiece of the Cakekraft experience. Artificial flavors, colors, or trans-fats don’t have any place in quality baked goods; so my recipes use only the finest, most pure ingredients available, and any colorants come from natural sources. I also support local organic farms and buy from them whenever possible.
